Q1.WHAT DOSE A GOOD SWIMMING GOGGLES REQUIRE?

A1：A good swimming goggles must have the uniformity to have same vision above and below water. It will not create dizziness, non-leakage in the water、anti-fog, low drag、non-pressure on the eyeballs, ultra wide vision and superior light transmittance. With regard to the prescription swimming goggles, it must have the same functions as the prescription optical glasses we wear on the land. It can correct the vision for both eyes to get the precise vision and match the PD value. Lightweight lenses and without any distortion of vision .

Q2. I AM A NEARSIGHTED PERSON,HOW DO I KNOW EYESIGHT AND SELECT A SUITABLE PRESCRIPTION SWIMMING GOGGLES?

A2：You should know clearly of your diopter and PD value (Pupil Distance) for your left and right eyes before you select your prescription swimming goggles. If you are not sure, you can find an ophthalmologist or an optical shop to ask an optometrist for an inspection of your eyesight. You can then select the precise prescription swimming goggles accordingly and fit your diopter perfectly.  

Q3.IS IT NECESSARY TO REDUCE THE DIOPTER FPR A PRESCRIPTION SWIMMING GOGGLES?

A3：No, it’s not necessary. Some manufacturers suggest to reduce 50 or 100 diopters for the swimming goggles which is incorrect. We suggest to select the “absolutely correct diopter” which means you select the goggles

Q4. I HAVE DIFFERENT EYESIGHT OF MY LEFT AND RIGHT EYE,I CAN ONLY WEAR THE SWIMMING GOGGLES WITH SAME DIOPTERS?

A4：The consumers with different diopters for both eyes and wear the incorrect prescription goggles will harm their eyes. Q5.I HAVE ASTIGMATISM,HOW DO I GET THE PRESCRIPTION FOR MY SWIMMING GOGGLES?

A5：At present, there is no swimming goggles especially designed for astigmatism, the precise astigmatism diopter is to divide the astigmatism diopter by 2, and plus your myopic diopter. For example, myopic diopter 200, astigmatism 100, the ideal diopter for the swim goggles lens is 200 + (100 / 2) = 250 (-2.5)

Q6. DOES THE PD VALUE INFLUENCE THE VISION?

A6：When you select the myopic glasses, the center point of pupil must be vertical to the center point of the optical lens, then you’ll have the best vision. If the PD value is incorrect , you will feel uncomfortable and the vision affected. It’s the same as you wear a myopic glasses with incorrect PD value on land, it comes into a prism effect, when you look at the flat floor it’s uneven and can make you lose balance.

Q7.HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SIZE OF NOSE BRIDGE IS SUITABLE FOR ME?

A7：SABLE WaterOptics conducted a research in Taiwan area and found the most common PD value ranges are from 58mm to 65mm. SABLE WaterOptics insists that the center point of lens should be shifted inward by 3-4mm to meet the range of the PD values of common people. We designed a multi-adjustable nose bridge to maximize the visual effect of our swimming goggles. Nose bridges are available with S (61±3mm)、M(64±3mm)、L (67±3mm ) sizes.

Q8.CAN I WEAR CONTACT LENSES WITH PLANO SWIMMING GOGGLES TO SWIM ?

A8：No, you’d better not. Because contact lens soaks up to the cornea, no one can assure there is no water permeating into our eyes when attending water activities. And the swimming pool might have infection of bacteria、oil dirt and chemical agents, once the water contacts with eyes, it can easily stick to the contact lens and very difficult to wash away, and it also damages your contact lenses. If you go outdoor swimming, a tough water sport and turbulent waves will make the contact lenses lose easily, and you can  be in a dangerous situation, so you need to be very careful.

Q9. I WANT TO GO OUTDOOR SWIMMING,HOW DO I SELECT A SUITBLE SWIMMING GOGGLES ?

A9：When you go outdoor swimming, there are some important elements to consider for a suitable swimming goggles as below:   
Wide vision enable to see clearly, particularly the myopic swimmers must have 1.precise diopter, meanwhile you shall not wear contact lenses, it can come off easily and get lost.    
2.Strong protection, the lens should be shatter resistant; the surface is long-wearing, not easy to scratch; select the wider and thicker frame to strengthen the eye protection. 
3.The light is dim when going outdoor water sports in the morning and evening, but when the sun appears it becomes very bright. Sometimes you are unable to look steadily at the reflect light above water, the ultimate mirror lens is your best choice to go outdoor water sports. It can resist the strong light and makes the light become tender to come into eyes, even when the light becomes dark, you still can have a very clear vision.

Q10.HOW LONG CAN I WEAR A SWIMMING GOGGLES?

A10：Our eyes need oxygen when swimming, it is better not over 30 minutes when wearing a swimming goggles with bigger lens cup; and 15-20 minutes are recommended for the ones with a smaller lens cup. Take off the swimming goggles for a while and let your eyes get fresh air from time to time. 

Q11.WHAT CAN I DO IF I FOUND GREASY DIRT IN MY SWIMMING AFTER USING?

A11：Apply few drops of neutral cleaning agent on the inside of swimming goggles and wash away with clean water gently.

Q12.WHAT CAN I DO IF THE GASKET OF MY SWIM GOGGLES FALL OFF?

A12：SABLE swimming goggles uses the detachable design to assemble the gasket, without using an adhesive and it won’t fall off easily. If the gasket falls off, to align the lens and gasket by following the direction mark on both parts, reload it, and back for normal use.
