In begin of 2015, Sable files an application for “BS 5883: 1996 British Standard, Specification for surface swimming goggles”, a major testing protocol for swimming goggles worldwide.  Testing by SGS test Lab., includes Optical properties of materials, straps, seals, performance testing, compression testing, compressive strength, tensile testing, Impact testing, Impact goggles materials contents, diopters of prescription lenses (+/- 12), grasp leaking and pressure testing, head strap anti-slip testing, safety testing and so on precisely inspection.  The result and report for Sable full product series and Sable prescription lenses meet BS5883 standard tested by SGS.

The Main goal of BS 5883 testing to help manufacturer to produce safety, suitable, and comfortable goggles.  Sable follows BS5883 and provides both Myopia and Plano lenses performing better strength in fracture or crack, better seal without leaking, better anti-slip of head-strap.
