01 Water optical

Whether it is on land on in water. It requires good eyesight for navigating. It propers set the direction to avoid unnecessary dangers to happen. Our eyes have created in order to adapt the air media. When people enter the water. Direct eyes contact with the water will not be able to focused. It turns into 3 to 4 thousand unleashed power of farsighted. Unable to determine the correct distance. Therefore, we must wear the proper swimming goggles when in water. Separate the eyes with water. To create an air space. It allows the eyes to recontact with the water. Restore the original vision on land. Here we are looking at three different lenses underwater. See what kind of effect they will produce by a simple experiment. We have arranged three tanks. A spherical surface tank, a flat surface tank, and an arc surface tank. We filled the tanks with clear water. After filled in with water. We have discovered the square has become small through the spherical surface tanks (water optic testing chart). The square has become narrow through the arc surface tank. The square did not have any change through the flat surface tank. Likewise, same as wearing swimming goggles in water. It's the same as looking at the eye chart through the tank. The flatter than lenses are, the more clarity and accuracy to be able to see the square.

Here we are doing a small experiment with a group of lenses. We select a spherical lens, and an absolutely flat lens by SABLE. Lens placed above the water.We found that there is no change by looking at the vision chart through the lens in the water. When we place the lenses in the water. We found that the square did not change when view it in the water with the absolute flat lens. Yet, the square has become small when view through the spherical lens.

03 Water optical

Place other brand names spherical lens. Now we will find that the cross mark on the lens has become unclear. We need to adjust the optometry unit. Until the cross mark becomes clear. Now we will find the the lens under the water will 242 power nearsighted. Below when place other brand names arc lenses. What are the changes under the water? We find that the cross mark on the lens has disappeared. Instead, an unclear yellow. We need to adjust the optometry unit. Then we found that this lens has severe astigmatic. After adjusted the clarity. We found that this lens have 546 power of astigmatic. The experiments show that only the absolute flat swimming goggles lens is able to maintain the same non-change standard beneath and above the water. Other spherical and arc lenses under water will at least produce 250 power nearsighted or 500 power+ astigmatic vision difference. Swim is the kind of sports that floats in the air and sink in the water at the same time. The vision we view on air and in water is constantly changing. Must be able to wear a pair of swimming goggles which is suitable for both on air and in water. The vary between the two medias. A pair that will not change the vision nor hurt the eyes.
